Great kitchen, friendly boss / cook who also takes time for his guests. We recommend.

Duka received us very warmly, even though we arrived quite late. The choice of food is varied and stimulating. We chose 4 starters because of the late evening and each one was excellent. The home-pickled salmon - a poem, very mild, yet nuanced and pleasant to the bite. So it went on, whether curry soup or the hare fillet - very well done with the right accompaniments. The wine recommendation also fits perfectly. Finally, a sloe schnapps, which we strongly recommend. Don't worry, we're still sober - but in a good mood. Gladly again - thank you !!

Very good food, quickly served, very clean. I like to go there again. It is a bit difficult to get to the local is in the middle of the construction site ..... But it's worth it 😋

Very friendly staff, pointed out on Sunday that the meal would take longer. After 25 minutes the roast was on the table, everything was good. We will be back.

I recently went to Duka's Banhof to eat several times. The dishes are just a dream. Tradition meets innovation. Clear culinary line. The dishes have a lightness and finesse. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Service is courteous and very friendly. Duka, owner and cook rolled into one, is a true host. You can easily taste his passion, experience and love for cooking. Duka's Banhof is a "must" for everyone who visits the Schöntal monastery. I will definitely be back. Come as a guest, gone as a friend!

Duka is a wonderful cook as well as host! The location is very special and whoever takes the '' trip to Schöntal '' will definitely not be fooled :) Culinary, the small train station can easily keep up with the BIG BIG ones !!!

Just great !!! The boss is super nice! The cappuccino and apple strudel were delicious !!! He said that he even cooks vegan for us :). We'll be back for dinner !!!

Great atmosphere, courteous and nice service. The food is great, I can only recommend it. A visit for a nice evening for two or with the family is definitely worth it. The cook masters his craft!

Duka's train station is just great. Very good, finely seasoned and wonderfully presented food. There is selected food for every taste. If you feel like it, you can get something else here. The service is friendly. Every time we are in Schöntal, we eat at Duka's because it is just great there.

Totally disappointed! I have no idea where the good reviews come from. After 2 hours of waiting (despite reservation) and repeated inquiries At least 6 of the 8 main courses ordered came, with the breaded The size of the schnitzel was more like chicken nuggets. For that found a fried wasp as a meat side dish in the spaetzle. 2 of us went home without food (one of which was even found on the bill). Incredible. We had been looking for the hidden camera the whole time🤦🏻‍♂️. Not to be recommended at all!

Since the new service, the service has unfortunately decreased a lot. It can take up to 20-30 minutes for the waitress to come to the table. Often a lot of food and drinks are no longer available. Have experienced better service here. It's a shame. However, the boss is very nice and tries to compensate for the incompetent service.

We were traveling by bike. Overnight in the monastery and dinner in the train station. Great ambience, service very friendly, the boss donated a "nightcap" late at night. This is vacation in the Ländle :-)

Latte macchiato was good and nice and hot, the waiter was friendly, immediately offered to open the parasol. Unfortunately no cake or apple strudel, so we ended up with 2 scoops of ice cream. Nice beer garden to sit well in the sun and shade. The location on the bike path ideal and well attended.

I wanted to have lunch with my wife today. Three tables were free, one was reserved. The waitress just said it was full and left us standing. A few young people came after us and just sat down at one of the three tables. Very bad service, unfriendly and in corona times.

Great food, charming location We had scallop, prawn salad, excellent done. The veal dish (Kalbsbäckchen) with balsamico sauce was done to perfection, meat very tender. The Maultaschen dish was also tasty. Next to an old stone bridge and to the beautiful monastry Schöntal.

Positive: The food was very well presented and also very delicious. Only the medium ordered Zwiebelrostbraten was no longer medium but actually 'through' fried. The salmon was very good. Can you recommend. Negative: We had reserved a table. It was at the reservation not indicated that this is outside on the terrace. It took more than a quarter of an hour for someone to come for drinks and food. Only 55 minutes later came the food! Even our children did not get their food earlier, even though they had only ordered spaetzle with sauce. Suggestions for improvement: At least one more service at lunchtime. When making a reservation ask if a table is desired outside or inside. If there is a lot going on, then an indication that it may take longer for the food to be served. Give children their food in advance or as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there are no more than 3 stars.

Delicious meal and excellent Hefe Weizen. Totally recommend it.

these days many restaurants close, have been difficult to eat in this area. But an incredible surprise I found this restaurant Duka's Bahnhof!!!! first rumpsteak well presented and good, the second pappardelle with salmon, amazing! friendly and good cook, and sweet waitress.
